Scouts 14-years-old and older can go to one of the premier camps in Central Minnesota, next to a great fishing lake, for an entire week for FREE! And, they also earn the Disabilities Awareness Merit Badge at the same time! From Saturday, Aug. 4 to Friday, Aug. 10, Scouts can volunteer through a special program between the Boy Scouts and Camp Friendship. The camp is, next to Clearwater Lake, near Annandale, Minnesota.

Camp Friendship is the state’s premiere camping facility for people with mental disabilities. The facilities are amazing, with pristine beaches, beautiful cabins, gorgeous wooded area, climbing and high ropes courses, indoor pool and a gym.

Act now! Space is limited and is on a first-come-first-served-basis.

All applications are due before July 15. Parent and Scoutmaster approval is required. Please email Jerry Carter at for more info.
